Quinta Caroline
The ultimate in holiday villas - and available only for lets of three months or more. This is a very special place for us. We were driving round one day, were intrigued by the entrance, saw the for sale sign, noticed it was called Quinta Caroline - my name - and had a look. We were hooked on its beauty and had shaken hands on the purchase by the end of the afternoon!
To provide a factual description does not do it justice. However, to give you a feel, there are two very large luxurious bedrooms (one incorporating a private sitting room), which both open up to the pool area which is, quite frankly, just stunning with plenty of seating areas, sun loungers, shady areas etc.
The three bathrooms are of a design rarely seen with their sunken, deep baths (for more than one person should the fancy take you!), power showers and seating areas.
The living room is fantastic, being typically Algarvean in design but inredibly spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. There is even a sauna (for six people), and a separate office (with a palm tree growing through the middle!) with broadband for anyone needing to work.
For guests wishing to bring pets (only with written agreement in advance) there are large winter and summer kennels, and associated kitchen/food preparation area. There are even drinking fountains where the water changes every 20 minutes to ensure a constant supply of fresh water for your pooch or cat.
Location wise, Quinta Caroline is just 1Km from Boavista Golf Resort and five minutes to the historic town of Lagos and the beaches.
