The Fairways Apartment is a truly superb two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with stunning views over lakes and fountains from the front balcony, and the second fairway and countryside from the rear balcony.

Whether you're looking for somewhere to stay for your next holiday or golfing break (or even a mixture of the two!) you certainly won't be disappointed as this apartment offers everything you need to make your stay here a true home from home.

Furnished to an exceptionally high standard, this apartment is true luxury. Interior designed, quality Bosch appliances in its fully equipped kitchen, fine English bed linen and views to die for from its two balconies, which offer sun or shade all day as required.

The apartment comes with access to an Olympic sized swimming pool, and there's tennis and football (with an Academy in high season) just a short walk away, as is the recently opened health club/spa/indoor pool which offers the opportunity to relax and unwind all year round at a very reasonable cost (approx 8 euros per half day).

For golfers, this is a true golfing mecca. Surrounded by the challenging 17th fairway and the surprisingly challenging second hole to the back, golfers can relax with a beer or glass of wine and just take in the atmosphere. There's even 25% off normal golf fees and free use of the extensive practice areas, recently described by a visiting pro friend of mine as equal to those on the European tour.

Regardless of whether you're on holiday or having a golfing break, the location of the apartment is superb. As well as being close to all the resort's amenities, it's also a short walk away from a traditional Portuguese restaurant offering very cheap food and wine and the bustling towns of Lagos and Praia da Luz are just 2km away, as are some of the Algarve's best (and almost deserted - even in high season) beaches.

Alternatively, if you want to truly get away from the beaten pack, just a five minute drives takes you into the (almost) tourist-free Portuguese countryside villages, where time has literally stood still for decades and where some of the region's best food, shopping and culture can be found.
