Leanda Heights is a truly unique three bedroom home, set on the prestigious Funchal Ridge just a few minutes from the towns and beaches of Luz and Lagos. The views are truly breathtaking (see photogallery for more pictures) and due to the multitude of terraces, patio areas and garden areas, there can hardly be a more relaxing place to be in the Algarve.
Indeed, whilst a three bedroom villa, the outdoor areas are equal to any five or six bedroom area in the area, so there is plenty of space for families wanting to be together or indeed 'have their own space' from time to time.
Talking of 'own space', the main part of the house is all on one level incorporating the prime living areas and two bedrooms (one twin and one double), all with patio doors out to the terraces to make the most of the fabulous views and light in this part of the Algarve.
In addition, there is also a studio apartment incorporated within the house which has its own kitchenette, living area and bedroom. Situated on the lower floor, this offers a great opportunity for children/teenagers (or their parents!) to be part of the holiday group but 'do their own thing'. And with the pool on this level, it's a great opportunity just to slip out of bed and take a dip!
The pool areas are something else too. Set just off the main terrace, the pool room has huge doors that open out to the terrace with its stunning views over the countryside and is superbly equipped with its own eating/relaxing areas furnished with comfortable sofas etc. The pool area even has its own bar area - making it a great place for a family pool party/evening dining.
All rooms throughout the villa open out to the most amazing terraces and gardens so whether it's shade or sun you are looking for (or a bit of both) you will have plenty of choice for either family living/relaxing or that quiet read or glass of wine!
The villa is furnished to a very high standard and like all my properties, is a true home from home (indeed the owners live here for part of the year so you will find everything you need here for your stay including SKY TV).
The outdoor furniture is also of a very high quality and there is an abundance of it to help you make the most of the both the views and the Algarve weather.
Just a couple of minutes' drive from the villa you will find Boavista Golf Resort with all its other facilities such as tennis, football academy, health club/spa (discounts on all facilities available through Prime Algarve Rentals.).
The beaches and pretty resort town of Luz is a few minutes in one direction with its numerous restaurants and a few minutes in the other direction takes you to the historic town of Lagos and the superb beaches and water sports facilities at Porto do Mos, Praia Dona Ana and the renowned expanse of beach at Meia Praia.
